Zuberec
Only a 1 hour drive from Chalupa Ria!

Zuberec is ideally placed in the Western Tatras as a base to explore an area of Slovakia, which is still relatively unknown to foreign tourists. There are of course opportunities for skiing and hiking, but also there are many interesting places close by such as museums and galleries, the Orava dam, and a thermal swimming pool.

One of the highlights of any stay in Zuberec is a visit to the Museum of Orava Village in Brestova. The open-air museum or skanzen is one of the most beautiful museums of rural architecture in Europe.
