Bojnice Castle
Only a 1 hour 20 minute drive from Chalupa Ria!

One of the best known historical monuments in Slovakia, Bojnice Castle is also one of the most beautiful.

Today, the fairy-tale castle houses art and historical expositions all year round. There is also a falconry in the grounds, and the oldest lime tree in Slovakia.

However, it is the unconventional cultural activities, such as the International Ghost and Spirit festival, which set Bojnice Castle apart from other castles in Slovakia.

Bojnice Zoo
Only a 1 hour 20 minute drive from Chalupa Ria!

The Zoo at Bojnice prides itself on the number and variety of animal species that it has. It is active in breeding programs and also keeps many endangered species. The bear enclosure is outstanding, and the performing elephants superb.

However, it is the fact that you are able to get close, sometimes dangerously close, to the animals that makes the Zoo such a great day out.
